This includes your name, email address, professional experience, qualifications, and uploaded documents. We also collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information to maintain platform security.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your information is used to operate the platform, verify credentials, facilitate connections between talent and employers, and improve our services. We use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. Your real identity is masked by default and only revealed when you explicitly choose to share it with a specific employer.
3. Identity Masking & Privacy Controls
HonestHires operates on a privacy-first model. Your real name, phone number, email, and current employer are masked by default. Employers browse anonymized profiles and can only see your verified qualifications, experience history, and skills. You control exactly what information is revealed and when.
4. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure powered by Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data. Documents are stored in encrypted object storage. All API communications are protected with TLS 1.3, CSRF tokens, and Content Security Policy headers.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your data is shared only when: (a) you explicitly accept a connection with an employer, (b) we are required by law, or (c) it is necessary to protect the rights and safety of our users and platform.
6. Cookies & Tracking
HonestHires uses only essential cookies for authentication sessions and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics tools. No data is shared with ad networks.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You may request a full copy of your data or permanent account deletion by contacting our support team. We will process all data requests within 30 days in compliance with applicable privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
