1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HonestHires, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform. These terms apply to all users, including talent, employers, and visitors.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use. HonestHires reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Platform Usage
HonestHires is a vetted outreach platform connecting talent with employers. You agree not to: (a) misrepresent your qualifications or identity, (b) use the platform for spam, harassment, or unauthorized solicitation, (c) attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data, (d) scrape or extract data from the platform, or (e) use the platform for any illegal purpose.
4. Pitch Credits & Payments
Employers purchase pitch credits to send outreach messages to talent. Credits are non-refundable except when a talent declines a pitch — in which case the credit is automatically returned to the employer's balance. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis and may be cancelled at any time. No placement commissions or hidden fees apply.
5. Verification & Vetting
HonestHires provides identity verification and background vetting services through third-party partners. While we make reasonable efforts to verify credentials, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any verification. Employers should conduct their own due diligence before making hiring decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, code, and trademarks are the property of HonestHires. You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, documents, messages) but grant HonestHires a limited license to display and process this content for platform operations. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform materials without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
HonestHires is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HonestHires shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate their account at any time. HonestHires reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Data deletion requests will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
HonestHires reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
